Wonderspaces is now open in the Fashion District and it features immersive, interactive and conversation-provoking works of Art, in a fun, informal setting that invites visitors to connect with family, friends and loved ones through unique, shared experiences, it is literally 2400 Square feet of art exhibits, some of which could only be normally seen at Sundance or Tribeca, the art work will keep fresh, by swapping out every few months, I liked the fact that they had a coat check, which you can leave your coat, big bags etc, it sounds like a small detail, but it’s not, the one particular thing that “blew me away” was their Virtual Reality, if you’ve never experienced Virtual Reality, it’s basically a movie that you watch, but feel like your a part of, Wonderspaces has an unbelievable Virtual Reality exhibit called “Dinner Party” by Laura Wexler, Charlotte Stoudt and Angel Soto, that tells an incredible story about an alien abduction in 1961, I actually felt like I was in 1961 and I was fascinated by the story, even saying to myself that it was some of the best writing I had ever witnessed, much to my amazement, the staff informed me, when it was over, that it was a true story, and that you can Google to find out more information about it, this Virtual Reality exhibit alone is worth going to Wonderspaces for, I think this is also a great place for school field trips and Corporate Events, because it’s like a very fun, cool museum, so go to Wonderspaces to experience two floors of incredible art exhibits and my favorite part, the Virtual Reality, you’ll be glad you did
