since I have now lived in Port Richmond for 24 years, the one foodie question that I am always asked is where is the best place for Polish Food and the answer is there are several and each offers a different item that can be considered “The Best” The Dinner House has authentic Polish food, their soups are some of the best, but people give me a blank stare when I tell them that my “go to” order, which I get very often is the $6.00 huge Kielbasa sandwich with their incredibly delicious fries and the typical response is “You ordered fries at a Polish restaurant??” and I do this because they are some of the best fries that you can get, hand cut and totally delicious, I was telling another customer today that I am so happy that this great spot survived the Pandemic and is still serving delicious food…here are a couple of my Polish cuisine “Go to’s” in Port Richmond, keep in mind that there are many…Pierogies: I love the handmade ones from the M&M Diner at Salmon and Allegheny, Green Rock Tavern, Czerws are just a couple of my favorite pierogies spots
