    I don’t like to brag, but I spent the better part of 2013 and 2014 going to fine dining establishments for their lunch burger and I have had more than my share of bad ones, such as the one from the Fountain restaurant inside the old 4 Seasons Hotel, which advertised a “truffle burger” and instead had a burger with canned mushrooms on top, this Barclay Prime burger is delicious, very high quality meat, which I expected and delicious cheese

    I judge every bar, no matter what type of cuisine they specialize in, by their burger, so instead of ordering their Shepherd’s Pie or Guinness Stew, I ordered the burger, so let’s break it down 

    Bun–really good bun

    Cheese–I loved the cheddar cheese 

    Meat–here is what makes this a really great burger…the meat is seasoned perfectly and really stands out as being the star of the show, I can’t tell you how many places do not put any seasonings on their burger and this is perfect 

    Price– another thing that I loved was the price, it’s a full size delicious burger for only around 10 bucks

    I am excited to have them on our show and I am also excited to go back and order their delicious Irish food

    This is a perfect example of why you should always give a restaurant a 2nd chance, I was here about a year ago and I wasn’t too happy, so I tried this fried chicken sandwich and it was absolutely delicious, the roll, chicken and toppings were delicious

    Here is another place that I originally tried and didn’t like, so I switched it up and tried the crab cake sandwich, I don’t usually order crab cakes, because they are usually too small and overpriced, but this was a nice size and delicious, the roll wasn’t the freshest roll, but the delicious crab cake made up for it

    Someone sent me an email stating that I seem to be posting a lot of positive reviews lately and that they really enjoy the negative ones, so before I post this good review, I will tell you about my last experience here, I ordered an eggplant burger thinking that it was a burger topped with fried eggplant and it turned out to be all fried eggplant, it’s debatable whether the server should have let me know, because the menu was not clear, this actual beef burger was delicious, cooked perfectly and had very good flavor

    I loved everything about this burger, except the price so let’s break it down

    Bun—fresh bun

    meat—I loved how nicely the meat was seasoned 

    toppings—cheese had nice flavor to it

    size—my only problem is that I don’t think that this is even a 6 ounce burger

    I will tell you for a fact that their brisket is absolutely delicious, it literally melts in your mouth, my only negative is paying 10 dollars for a sandwich without fries, on the other side of the coin, brisket isn’t  cheap and they give you a lot of it

    I have a love/hate relationship with this burger, so let’s break it down 

    Bun–nice bun, but the bottom fell apart

    Meat–I blame myself for ordering medium/well but it was dry

    Toppings–clearly the best part, thick slabs of bacon, scrapple and a perfectly fried egg

    Overall…very good burger, just don’t order it well done or even medium/well

    When I go to a restaurant that promotes hamburgers, I expect good hamburgers, when I go to a restaurant that promotes good chicken, I expect good chicken, these guys promote good cheese and that’s exactly what this burger had, good cheese…as for everything else??….Mehta
